Soft soy wax is a category of soy wax that is intentionally formulated to have a lower melting point and a pliable, creamy texture.

Softer Consistency: Its defining feature is its soft, often buttery or creamy texture, even at room temperature. This is due to a lower melting point compared to other soy wax formulations. 
Ideal for Container Candles: Primarily designed for container candles (e.g., jars, tins). Its softness allows for excellent adhesion to container walls, which helps to reduce "wet spots" (areas where the wax pulls away from the container).
Smooth Finish: Often results in a very smooth, creamy top surface after cooling, though a second pour might sometimes be recommended to achieve a perfect finish. 
Good Fragrance Throw: Soft soy waxes are generally known for a good hot and cold fragrance throw, effectively dispersing scents into a room.
Lower Melt Point: Typically has a lower melting point, which can contribute to a slower, more even burn and a longer overall burn time for the candle. 
Natural & Clean Burning: Like other soy waxes, it's derived from renewable soybean oil, making it an eco-friendly and biodegradable choice that burns cleanly with minimal soot.
